COLO.SCIENCE / CONCENTRATION & EVAPORATION

Equipment for controlled solvent removal

From rotary evaporation to parallel sample concentration: select a system around your solvent, sample volume and temperature limits. Match the instrument, vacuum and cooling to the result your laboratory needs.

CHOOSE YOUR WORKFLOW

01

Rotary evaporation

For solvent removal and extract concentration using coordinated rotation, heating, vacuum and condenser cooling. Compare the evaporator with the complete supporting setup.

02

Sample concentration

For parallel sample preparation and solvent reduction in tubes. Choose the heating range, sample format and number of positions to match your method.

ROVA901 rotary evaporator with vertical condenser and automatic lift

FEATURED SYSTEM / ROVA901

Rotary evaporation with automatic lift

5–300 rpm rotation, a water/oil bath up to 210 °C and a vertical condenser with 1600 cm² cooling surface. The chiller, vacuum pump and vacuum controller are selected separately for your application.

Build a complete system

Condenser cooling: a circulating bath or chiller removes heat from the condenser. Select cooling capacity at the actual working temperature, not from the temperature range alone.

Vacuum and trapping: the pump creates reduced pressure; the controller regulates it. A cold trap captures residual vapour in the vacuum line. It has a different function from the condenser chiller.

Before or after concentration: filtration may be a separate process step. ROVAVF10 vacuum filter is supporting filtration equipment, not a rotary evaporator.

Let’s configure your evaporation workflow

Tell us your solvent, starting and target volumes, samples per run and temperature limits. COLO will help define the instrument and optional equipment in a formal quotation.
