COLO.SCIENCE — MAVRICA-T SERIES

MAVRICA-T double-beam UV/Vis spectrophotometer series, 190–1100 nm, with 11-inch touch screen and GLP/GMP data control

The MAVRICA-T double-beam UV/Vis spectrophotometer series covers absorbance, transmittance and concentration measurement for clinical, environmental, petrochemical and quality-control laboratories. A 1200 lines/mm grating monochromator, deuterium & tungsten source, dual silicon photodiode detection and an 11-inch colour touch screen support photometry, quantitative analysis, kinetics, spectrum scan, DNA/protein testing and multi-wavelength measurement across three double-beam models — MAVRICA-T10, MAVRICA-T20 and MAVRICA-T50 — plus the split-beam MAVRICA-MS40 built on the same platform.

MAVRICA-T double-beam UV/Vis spectrophotometer with 11-inch colour touch screen

All four instruments share one measuring platform, one user interface and one accessory range, so the choice comes down to optical system and spectral bandwidth. MAVRICA-MS40 is the split-beam entry model at 2 nm. MAVRICA-T10 introduces the true double-beam system at 2 nm bandwidth, MAVRICA-T20 refines it to 1 nm, and MAVRICA-T50 offers selectable 0.5 / 1 / 2 / 4 / 5 nm bandwidth for the widest method flexibility.

Every MAVRICA-T double-beam UV/Vis spectrophotometer measures from 190 to 1100 nm, reaches a scanning speed of up to 6000 nm/min and documents results with GLP/GMP user management, audit tracking and log inquiry — the reason the MAVRICA-T double-beam UV/Vis spectrophotometer fits regulated and audited laboratory environments.

MAVRICA-T double-beam UV/Vis spectrophotometer for demanding routine and research analysis

In a double-beam instrument the light is divided between the sample and a reference path and both are measured at the same time. Lamp drift, ageing of the optics and changes in ambient temperature act on both beams equally and are corrected continuously, which is what keeps a long kinetic run, a full spectrum scan or a series of quantitative determinations stable from the first reading to the last. This is the practical difference the MAVRICA-T double-beam UV/Vis spectrophotometer brings to methods that were previously limited by baseline drift.

The measured performance follows from that design: noise of 0.0005 A at 500 nm, stability of ±0.0001 A, baseline flatness of ±0.0004 A, stray light of ≤0.03 %T at 220 nm and 360 nm, and photometric accuracy of ±0.0005 A in the 0–0.5 A range. Wavelength accuracy is ±0.1 nm at 656.1 nm and ±0.3 nm over the full range, with repeatability of ≤0.1 nm. Photometric range reaches 0–400 %T and −4 to +4 A, with a resolution of 0.00001 Abs.

Operation is handled entirely on the instrument. The 11-inch colour touch screen carries the complete method set — photometric and quantitative measurement, kinetics, spectrum scan, DNA/protein test and multi-wavelength measurement — while GLP/GMP functions record who measured what and when. Results leave the instrument by cloud, e-mail, SMS, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, or go straight to a laser printer over Wi-Fi or a thermal printer over Bluetooth, without a PC in the loop.

How to select the appropriate MAVRICA-T double-beam UV/Vis spectrophotometer model

Start from the method. If it prescribes a spectral bandwidth, that value decides the model: 2 nm for MAVRICA-MS40 and MAVRICA-T10, 1 nm for MAVRICA-T20, or a selectable 0.5–5 nm on MAVRICA-T50. If the work is routine photometry and quantitative QC with short measurements, the split-beam MAVRICA-MS40 is usually enough; kinetics, long scans and low-absorbance determinations are where a MAVRICA-T double-beam UV/Vis spectrophotometer earns its place.

Then add the sample handling: a single hole holder for individual samples, an automatic 4-, 5- or 8-cell holder for series, a Peltier system for temperature-dependent methods, a sipper with flow cell for high throughput, or an integrating sphere and reflection accessory for turbid and solid samples. Finally, decide on documentation — on-instrument GLP/GMP control is standard, while the 21 CFR Part 11 compliant software is ordered separately for regulated laboratories.
