MAVRICA-M UV/Vis spectrophotometer with Wi-Fi — five models, 11″ touch screen
The MAVRICA-M UV/Vis spectrophotometer with Wi-Fi is a series of five models on one platform with an 11″ touch screen: single beam M50, M51 and M51S for 190–1100 nm with 2 nm, 1 nm or a selectable 0.5–5 nm, M30 for the visible range 320–1100 nm and the split beam MS40. Results go over Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, e-mail or SMS, and a printer is connected without a cable.
How the MAVRICA-M measures and shares results
The single beam models measure the blank and the sample one after the other in the same light path; the split beam MS40 also sends part of the light to a reference detector, which follows the lamp intensity. Results are shown on the 11″ touch screen and leave the MAVRICA-M UV/Vis spectrophotometer with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, e-mail or SMS — without a PC next to the instrument.

Why a UV/Vis spectrophotometer with Wi-Fi
A UV/Vis spectrophotometer with Wi-Fi sends results where they are needed — to a printer, a server, a mailbox or a phone — without a PC and cables at the bench. The five MAVRICA-M models share the screen, the connectivity and the accessories; they differ in range, bandwidth and optics, so the model is chosen for the methods in use: M30 for visible methods, M50 for routine UV/Vis, M51 or M51S for narrower or selectable bandwidth, MS40 for longer series.
For long kinetics and scan series choose the double beam MAVRICA-T on the same platform; for a 7″ touch screen the NOVEL4S, for an automatic 8-cell holder the NOVEL-100S — both in the menu above.
Cell holders and sample handling
A manual 4-cell holder for 10 mm cuvettes, 4 glass cuvettes and 2 quartz cuvettes for UV are in standard delivery of the MAVRICA-M. An automatic 4-, 5- or 8-cell holder, film holder, test-tube rack, Peltier / sipper system, integrating sphere and reflection accessory are available as options.

Operation and data

Photometry, quantitation, kinetics, wavelength scan, multi-wavelength measurement and DNA / protein analysis are started from the 11″ touch screen. The scanning speed is high, medium or low, up to 8000 nm/min.
Results are sent over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth 3.0 (about 10 m), by e-mail or SMS, and printed on a laser printer over Wi-Fi or a thermal printer over Bluetooth. User management, audit trail and log are on the instrument; 21 CFR compliant software is available as an option.
