MAVRICA18 single-beam UV/Vis spectrophotometer measurement across four wavelength and bandwidth configurations
The MAVRICA18 series covers routine and research UV/Vis spectrophotometry work with a single fixed-optics platform: automatic wavelength setting, scanning speed Hi/Med/Low up to 3000 nm/min, and T/A/C/E measurement modes read directly on a 320×240 dot highlighted LCD. USB and RS232 output with direct Excel export keep results connected to laboratory data workflows.
All four models share the same optical system, control logic, data output and standard accessories. They differ in wavelength range, spectral bandwidth and the resulting accuracy — see the model comparison below.
SELECTION NOTE — MAVRICA18 SINGLE-BEAM UV/VIS SPECTROPHOTOMETER

MAVRICA18 single-beam UV/Vis spectrophotometer for routine and research laboratory work
The MAVRICA18 single-beam UV/Vis spectrophotometer series is built around one optical platform shared by all four models, so laboratories can standardize training, accessories and data workflow while selecting the wavelength range and bandwidth that fit each method. MAVRICA-18-V0 and MAVRICA-18-U0 use a 2 nm bandwidth across 320–1100 nm and 190–1100 nm respectively, while MAVRICA-18-U1 and MAVRICA-18-US narrow the bandwidth to 1 nm and a selectable 0.5–5 nm range for higher-resolution methods.
Every MAVRICA18 model reads in T, A, C and E mode on a 320×240 dot highlighted LCD, exports readings over USB or RS232 directly to Excel, and is delivered with the same standard accessory set — the 10 mm manual 4-cell cuvette holder with 2× quartz and 4× glass cuvettes of 1 cm optical path — plus an optional interactive PC software package with USB dongle, auto 8-cell holder, film holder, tube rack, Peltier/sipper system, integrating sphere or reflection accessory. This shared platform is what makes MAVRICA18 practical for routine QC, environmental and water-quality testing, and biochemistry laboratories that need one instrument family instead of four unrelated spectrophotometers.

How to select the appropriate MAVRICA18 single-beam UV/Vis spectrophotometer model
Choosing the right MAVRICA18 single-beam UV/Vis spectrophotometer model starts from the required wavelength range. If the method only needs the visible-extended 320–1100 nm range, MAVRICA-18-V0 is the entry configuration. If the full 190–1100 nm UV/Vis range is required, choose between MAVRICA-18-U0, MAVRICA-18-U1 and MAVRICA-18-US based on the bandwidth the method calls for.
MAVRICA-18-U0 keeps the same 2 nm bandwidth as the entry model. MAVRICA-18-U1 narrows to 1 nm for tighter wavelength and photometric accuracy. MAVRICA-18-US adds selectable 0.5/1/2/4/5 nm bandwidth, useful when a laboratory runs multiple methods with different resolution requirements on the same instrument. All four models accept the same standard and optional accessories, so the accessory decision (auto cell changer, software, printer, calibration) can be made independently of the model choice.
