Titration Modes Explained
The TITRO4 supports four main titration modes, each designed for specific analytical workflows and levels of precision:
- DET – Dynamic Equivalence Point Titration: The titrator automatically adjusts the dosing rate as the equivalence point approaches, ensuring fast and accurate detection. Ideal for acid–base, redox, and complexometric titrations requiring maximum precision.
- MET – Monotone Equivalence Point Titration: The system doses in fixed, equal steps without adapting to the signal slope. Suitable for method validation and applications requiring reproducible, linear dosing behavior.
- SET – Preset Endpoint Titration: The titration stops automatically when a pre-defined potential (mV) or pH value is reached. Commonly used for routine analyses with known endpoints, such as chloride or acidity determinations.
- MAT – Manual Titration: Manual dosing controlled by the operator while the titrator continuously records potential and calculates results. Useful for teaching, method development, and electrode testing.
Together these four titration modes make the TITRO4 versatile for a wide range of chemical, environmental, and pharmaceutical analyses, ensuring both flexibility and reproducibility under GLP standards.
