MBINF Laboratory Incubator · Forced Air · Light and UV Lamp · 45 to 210 L

The MBINF laboratory incubator keeps cultures at an even temperature from 5 °C above room temperature up to 70 °C with forced air circulation. An interior light and a UV lamp, an inner tempered glass door and a stainless-steel chamber are common to all four sizes: 45 L (PRO3009), 65 L (PRO3010), 125 L (PRO3011) and 210 L (PRO3012).

MBINF models and order codes

Model Order code Chamber volume Inner chamber W × D × H Exterior W × D × H Heating power
MBINF45 PRO3009 45 L 350 × 350 × 350 mm 525 × 480 × 620 mm 250 W
MBINF65 PRO3010 65 L 400 × 350 × 450 mm 575 × 480 × 720 mm 250 W
MBINF125 PRO3011 125 L 500 × 450 × 550 mm 675 × 580 × 820 mm 500 W
MBINF210 PRO3012 210 L 600 × 580 × 600 mm 775 × 710 × 870 mm 600 W

All four sizes share the same controller, fan, light and UV lamp, double door and stainless-steel chamber; they differ in chamber size and heating power. Exterior dimensions and power are typical values. Not sure which size you need? Send the vessel type and how many you incubate at once, and we will propose the model.

Microbiological incubator with fan, light and UV lamp

A fan with four speed steps moves the warm air through the whole chamber, so every shelf reaches the setpoint. The UV lamp helps keep the empty chamber clean between runs and switches off automatically when the outer door is opened. With the interior light on, you can check the cultures through the inner glass door without letting the heat out.

MBINF laboratory incubator with inner glass door and stainless-steel chamber

Key features

  • Temperature RT+5 °C to 70 °C, fluctuation ±0.5 °C, uniformity ±1.5 °C
  • Forced air circulation, fan with four speed steps
  • Interior light and UV lamp; UV switches off when the door opens
  • LCD controller with PID and timer 0 to 9999 min
  • Independent digital temperature limiter and over-temperature alarm
  • Inner tempered glass door, outer door with magnetic seal
  • Stainless-steel chamber, 2 shelves, 15 kg per shelf
  • Options: RS485, printer, USB data storage, programmable controller

Suitable for

  • Culture of bacteria and fungi with even temperature on all shelves
  • Routine incubation at 25–37 °C in food, pharmaceutical and environmental laboratories
  • Laboratories that want to keep the chamber clean with UV between runs
  • Research and teaching laboratories

Forced air or natural convection?

With a full chamber or vessels on several shelves, a fan gives a more even temperature and a faster return to the setpoint after the door has been opened. For open agar plates choose a low fan step, so the plates do not dry out.

If you prefer a quiet chamber without a fan, see the MBIND incubator series with natural convection.

Operating functions

PID control and timer

The LCD controller shows the measured and the set temperature and holds the setpoint within ±0.5 °C. The timer runs from 0 to 9999 minutes.

Light and UV lamp

The interior light makes checks through the glass door easy. Run the UV lamp only with the chamber empty and the door closed — UV light damages cultures and skin; it switches off automatically when the outer door is opened.

Safety

An independent digital temperature limiter cuts the heating if the controller fails, and an over-temperature alarm warns the user.

Construction, installation and care

The housing is coated steel; the chamber is stainless steel, easy to wipe and disinfect. Place the incubator level, away from direct sun and other heat or cold sources, with free space to the wall, and connect it to an earthed 220–240 V socket. Clean with a neutral detergent and a dry cloth; do not use acids or alkalis.

How to choose

  • 45 L — one user, a few racks of plates; bench-top size.
  • 65 L — daily routine of a small laboratory.
  • 125 L — a shared incubator for a group.
  • 210 L — the largest chamber, for larger series and bulky vessels.
  • Without light and UV? See the MBINE incubator series with forced air.

Configuration note

Tell us the vessels, how many you incubate at once and your working temperature, and whether you need data output. COLO.Science will confirm the model in the quotation.
