COLO.SCIENCE — FLEXIBLE ROUTINE CENTRIFUGATION
One centrifuge unit — two rotor configurations
LACE24 provides a practical centrifugation platform for laboratories that need moderate centrifugal force, straightforward touch-screen control and a choice between two commonly used tube capacities.
The PRO6994 24 × 10 ml rotor is suitable for higher-throughput work with compatible rounded-bottom and blood collection tube formats, while the PRO6993 6 × 50 ml rotor extends the same centrifuge unit to larger conical or rounded-bottom tubes.
Because the rotor is selected separately, laboratories can configure the LACE24 centrifuge according to the actual tube format and application rather than purchasing a predetermined rotor package.

CONFIGURATION PRINCIPLE — LACE24
Select the LACE24 centrifuge first, then choose the appropriate rotor
The LACE24 centrifuge is offered as the main centrifuge unit, while the rotor is selected separately according to the intended laboratory workflow. This configuration concept makes it possible to keep the centrifuge platform constant while choosing the tube capacity required for the application.
STEP 1
LACE24 centrifuge unit
Main centrifuge SKU PRO6857, touch-screen control, steel body and maximum operating speed of 4000 rpm.
STEP 2
Choose the rotor
Select either PRO6994 24 × 10 ml or PRO6993 6 × 50 ml according to tube format and required batch capacity.
This approach also allows the centrifuge unit and selected rotor to be shown as separate items in the commercial quotation.
Touch-screen control for repeatable routine operation

Practical control for daily centrifugation
The LCD touch-screen interface provides direct reading and adjustment of the principal operating parameters. Manufacturer information specifies memory for up to 99 programs, supporting repeated methods and routine daily centrifugation.
Ten selectable acceleration and deceleration levels allow the run profile to be adapted to different sample types. Operating parameters can also be adjusted during a run without stopping the centrifuge.
The maintenance-free DC brushless motor and multi-level rubber damping support stable operation with a declared noise level of ≤60 dB(A).

ROTOR SELECTION — CHOOSE ACCORDING TO APPLICATION
Compatible fixed-angle rotors for LACE24
The LACE24 centrifuge unit supports two confirmed fixed-angle rotor configurations. The rotor is selected separately from the centrifuge unit according to tube format, sample volume and required batch capacity.
Rotor SKU: PRO6994
24 × 10 ml fixed-angle rotor
For 24 × 10 ml rounded-bottom tubes and compatible blood collection tube formats. Suitable when higher sample throughput per centrifugation cycle is required.
Tube format: Rounded bottom
Maximum speed: 4000 rpm
Maximum RCF: 2250 × g
Rotor SKU: PRO6993
6 × 50 ml fixed-angle rotor
For 6 × 50 ml conical or rounded-bottom tubes. Suitable for larger individual sample volumes while using the same compact LACE24 centrifuge unit.
Tube format: Conical / rounded bottom
Maximum speed: 4000 rpm
Maximum RCF: 2250 × g
Rotor selection:
choose PRO6994 for higher-throughput work with compatible 10 ml tubes, or PRO6993 for larger 50 ml tube formats. Confirm actual tube dimensions, cap geometry and tube manufacturer speed / RCF limits before ordering.
Rotor selection:
choose PRO6994 when the workflow requires higher throughput of compatible 10 ml tubes. Choose PRO6993 when the method requires larger 50 ml conical or rounded-bottom tubes. Confirm actual tube diameter, tube length, cap geometry and manufacturer RCF limits before ordering.
Control and safety functions
Electronic door lock
Operation starts only when the lid is properly closed and locked. Opening is permitted after the rotor has stopped.
Automatic protection
Protection functions include imbalance, over-speed and over-temperature monitoring for safer routine operation.
Steel chamber protection
Steel plate protection surrounds the centrifugation chamber and contributes to the robust mechanical design of the instrument.
Emergency lid release
A manual emergency opening mechanism provides access to the centrifuge chamber after an unexpected power interruption.
Applications and laboratory value
Clinical laboratories
With the appropriate rotor, LACE24 supports routine preparation of compatible blood collection tubes and other clinical laboratory samples.
General sample preparation
The LACE24 centrifuge can be used for routine separation and clarification where moderate centrifugal force and either 10 ml or 50 ml tube formats are appropriate.
Education and research
Straightforward operation, stored programs and selectable rotor formats make LACE24 practical for universities, schools and research institutes.
Industrial QC
Compact dimensions and robust steel construction support routine separation procedures in industrial quality-control laboratories.
How to configure the LACE24 centrifuge
Start with the tube format. For routine workflows using compatible 10 ml rounded-bottom or blood collection tubes, the PRO6994 rotor provides a capacity of 24 positions. For larger 50 ml conical or rounded-bottom tubes, select the PRO6993 rotor with six positions.
The next consideration is daily throughput. The 24 × 10 ml configuration is advantageous where many smaller tubes are processed in repeated batches, while the 6 × 50 ml configuration is intended for fewer but larger samples.
The LACE24 centrifuge unit is common to both configurations. The final commercial configuration therefore consists of the centrifuge unit plus the selected rotor. Always verify the actual tube dimensions and the tube manufacturer’s maximum permitted RCF.
