COLO.SCIENCE – UV/VIS SPECTROPHOTOMETER / XENON–PMT SERIES
Why XENON–PMT is a practical lab choice
The XENON–PMT series combines double-beam optics, a high-sensitivity PMT detector, and Xenon lamp illumination to support stable UV/Vis measurements in routine and advanced workflows. The instrument is designed around an ARM processing core and an intuitive 10.1″ touch screen for curve display, parameter setup and reporting-ready results.
Typical applications include clinical and biomedical labs, biochemistry, petrochemical industry, environmental and water labs, food testing and industrial quality control where reliable scanning, quantitative analysis and method verification are required.
Key features (short)
- PMT detector for high sensitivity in UV/Vis measurement.
- Double beam optical system with 1200 lines/mm grating.
- 10.1″ TFT capacitive touch screen for clear curves, parameters and scan results.
- Multi-function modes: T, A, C, E – photometric, quantitative, scanning, kinetics, DNA/protein.
- Professional COLO UV/Vis software (standard configuration), plus USB/SD data export.
Workflow & configuration options
- Full-band, sub-band and dynamic time scanning; automatic wavelength adjustment; auto blank/zero.
- Peak/valley detection, scan processing and regression for quantitative curves.
- Manual or automatic cell holder options: 4 or 8 positions; from micro cell to macro cell (up to 100 mm).
- Optional built-in thermal printer; optional Wi-Fi Xenon lamp control.
PRACTICAL USE & CHECKLISTS
Daily workflow checklist (fast)
Warm up as per SOP, select the required mode (photometric / quantitative / scan / kinetics), run auto blank and auto-zero, then measure samples. Use scan processing and peak/valley detection for identification and QA checks.
Save results to internal storage or USB/SD and export for QC reporting. For quantitative workflows, build a calibration curve and use direct concentration readout.
COLO.Science & equipment
COLO.Science helps labs select the right UV/Vis configuration (cell holders, thermostating, printers, software) and implement stable, repeatable measurement workflows aligned with QA/QC requirements.
If you need 8-position holders, extended optical path, or compliance-oriented software workflows, we propose a matched configuration for your application.
