SELECTION NOTE — RITACUBA18N CONFIGURATION
RITACUBA18N high-speed laboratory centrifuge for flexible rotor selection
The RITACUBA18N high-speed laboratory centrifuge should be configured from the sample outward: first define the vessel or plate format, nominal and working volume, required throughput and target RCF; then select the compatible rotor and any necessary adapter. This approach avoids choosing a centrifuge only by headline rpm and helps ensure that the delivered configuration fits the real laboratory method.
The currently published rotor set covers 96-well plates, 1.5/2 ml microtubes, 5 ml, 10 ml, 15 ml and 50 ml tubes, together with higher-volume rotor configurations. Several rotors use NCP composite construction, combining low mass with corrosion resistance and practical handling advantages.
The centrifuge unit, rotor and adapters are selected and quoted separately unless a specific package is explicitly defined. Final compatibility, operating limits and delivery scope should always be confirmed in the binding quotation.
High-speed separation with a corrosion-resistant rotor chamber

Designed for repeatable daily laboratory operation
The rigid T45 steel body, three-stage vibration absorption and automatic balancing are intended to support stable bench operation. A smooth nano-ceramic chamber coating provides an additional corrosion-resistant surface and simplifies routine cleaning after normal laboratory use.
Automatic rotor recognition and alarm support help reduce configuration errors, while electronic lid safety and emergency lid release support controlled sample access during normal use and after an unexpected power interruption.

COLO.SCIENCE KNOWLEDGE AND SUPPORT
Configure the centrifuge around the real sample workflow
COLO.Science supports centrifuge selection by matching vessel geometry, sample volume, target RCF, throughput, rotor material, balancing requirements and documentation needs.
How to select the correct RITACUBA18N rotor
Start with the consumable. Confirm tube or plate type, nominal and working volume, diameter, bottom geometry, cap design, chemical compatibility and the consumable manufacturer’s maximum permitted RCF or rpm. Next define the number of samples per run and the actual centrifugal force required by the method.
Only then compare the compatible rotor. A rotor with a higher capacity may have a lower maximum speed, while a smaller microtube rotor may deliver substantially higher RCF. For reproducible work, use the method’s required RCF rather than selecting only by maximum centrifuge rpm.
RITACUBA18N centrifuge FAQ
What is the maximum performance of RITACUBA18N?
The declared instrument maximum is 18,500 rpm and 27,100 × g. Actual operating values depend on the installed rotor and must remain within the rotor, adapter and consumable limits.
Is RITACUBA18N refrigerated?
No. RITACUBA18N is an ambient, non-refrigerated benchtop centrifuge. Temperature-sensitive methods should be evaluated against a suitable refrigerated centrifuge platform.
Are rotor and adapters included with the centrifuge?
The RITACUBA18N high-speed laboratory centrifuge is presented as a centrifuge unit. The rotor and any required adapters are selected separately unless a quotation explicitly defines a complete package.
Can RITACUBA18N process microplates?
Yes. The published PRO3376 rotor is rated for four 96-well microplates at up to 4,000 rpm and 2,300 × g.
