CMPA3 — Automatic Drug & Sliding Melting Point Analyzer
OVERVIEW
A melting point apparatus measures the temperature at which a substance changes from solid to liquid. In organic chemistry, melting point determination is a fundamental tool for identifying a substance and a key method for assessing its purity. Melting point instruments therefore play an important role in the chemical industry, medical laboratories and drug research, and are essential tools in the production of pharmaceuticals, fragrances, fuels and other organic crystalline substances.
CMPA3 is a professional drug melting point analyzer designed for both conventional capillary melting point and sliding melting point measurements. It combines precise digital temperature control, automatic detection and convenient one-button switching between liquid media to deliver fast, reliable and repeatable results.
The instrument offers fully automatic detection (0.5 class), photoelectric measurement of the melting process, stepless heating rate adjustment from 0.1 °C/min to 10 °C/min and four evaluation modes (standard, long melting range, learning and sliding melting point) to adapt to many different sample types.
