pH composite electrode HF acid resistance for Aggressive Media

OVERVIEW

This pH composite electrode with HF acid resistance is specially designed for pH measurements in solutions containing hydrofluoric acid (HF) or other aggressive media that would attack and destroy standard glass electrodes. The PP (polypropylene) body and specially formulated sensing element provide excellent chemical resistance while maintaining accurate pH response.

Combining pH indicator and reference electrode in one body, it features a Longlife reference system, a ceramic junction for stable electrolyte flow, and 3 M KCl fill solution. With pH range 2–11, PP body, and S7 connector, this electrode is ideal for applications in metal finishing, semiconductor manufacturing, chemical processing, and other industries where HF-containing solutions are encountered.

HF-resistant pH electrode for aggressive media featuring PP body, Longlife reference, and ceramic junction. pH range 2–11, 0–60 °C, S7 connector — ideal for hydrofluoric acid solutions and demanding chemical environments.COLO.Science · Practical and robust equipment for everyday laboratory workflows.

Product Overview

The HF-resistant pH electrode is engineered for applications where standard glass electrodes would be rapidly corroded by hydrofluoric acid. The PP (polypropylene) body provides excellent chemical resistance, while the specially formulated sensing element maintains accurate pH response in HF-containing solutions up to 60°C. The ceramic junction ensures stable reference potential and long-term reliability.

Compatibility notice — connector and meter matching are essential

The connector must be compatible with the meter you are using. This model features an S7 connector and requires an S7-BNC(Q9) cable for use with meters having BNC input. Please confirm compatibility with your meter before ordering.

General Electrode Notes

  • pH electrodes are available as pH indicator electrode, composite electrode, and 3 in 1 pH composite electrode (with temperature probe).
  • A pH indicator electrode needs to cooperate with a separate reference electrode.
  • A composite electrode combines the pH indicator electrode and reference electrode.
  • A 3 in 1 pH composite electrode combines the pH indicator electrode, reference electrode, and temperature probe.
  • Temperature probes can adjust pH measurements by correcting the electrode slope according to the measured temperature.
  • The connector must be compatible with the meter you are using. Options include S7 [S7-BNC(Q9) cable] and BNC(Q9).

Connector Options & Compatibility

Different meters may require different connection formats. Always confirm connector type before ordering.

Connector / Option Notes
S7 This electrode features S7 connector. Use with S7-BNC(Q9) cable for meters with BNC input.
