OVERVIEW

Compact high-speed microcentrifuge for routine and molecular workflows

LACE16W micro centrifuge 16000 rpm high-speed laboratory microcentrifuge

The compact benchtop design keeps the LACE16W suitable for laboratories where working space is limited but high centrifugal force is required. Its small footprint, low declared noise and fast acceleration make it practical for frequent short centrifugation cycles in molecular, clinical and research workflows.

High-speed microcentrifugation is commonly used when laboratories need rapid sedimentation of cells, precipitates and other small-volume sample fractions. The LACE16W combines a small benchtop footprint with high centrifugal force, making it suitable for molecular biology, clinical preparation, pharmaceutical quality control, environmental testing and general research work.

The LACE16W laboratory microcentrifuge includes direct RPM/RCF conversion, a timer from 20 seconds to 99 minutes 59 seconds, quick-stop operation, automatic lid opening and imbalance monitoring. Its brushless motor and stainless-steel inner chamber support reliable daily operation while the declared noise level remains at or below 55 dB(A).

LACE16W CONFIGURATION

Standard 12 × 1.5/2.0 ml rotor plus three additional rotor formats

The current LACE16W technical specification defines the 31003 angle rotor, 12 × 1.5/2.0 ml, as the standard supplied rotor. It reaches 16,000 rpm / 16,260 × g and uses a protective click-seal biocontainment lid.

For other workflows, the same centrifuge platform supports 31002 for 0.5 ml microtubes, 31001 for 0.2 ml PCR formats and 31004 for 5 ml tubes. Maximum RCF therefore depends on the selected rotor.

LACE16W — HIGH-SPEED SMALL-VOLUME CENTRIFUGATION

Micro centrifuge 16000 rpm for molecular, clinical and research laboratories

A micro centrifuge 16000 rpm platform is particularly useful when small sample volumes must be processed rapidly at high centrifugal force. With the standard 12 × 1.5/2.0 ml rotor, LACE16W supports routine microtube work, while additional rotor formats broaden its use to PCR tubes, 0.5 ml microtubes and 5 ml samples.

The combination of a compact 200 × 280 × 140 mm footprint, automatic lid opening, low declared noise and rotor-dependent RCF up to 19,040 × g makes the LACE16W high speed micro centrifuge a practical choice for laboratories where bench space, fast turnaround and flexible small-volume processing are important.
