CP2050 Portable Spectrocolorimeter — d/8, SCI/SCE, UV, two apertures
The CP2050 portable spectrocolorimeter (COLO product code PRO7942) measures colour and colour difference with d/8 geometry and SCI/SCE. A UV light source for samples with optical brighteners, two apertures (Ø8 and Ø4 mm), camera positioning and Bluetooth make it the mid model of the CP20 series.

Overview
Measure the standard once, then every sample shows CIE Lab values, ΔE, pass/fail and the direction of the colour offset. SCI and SCE are measured together, so the influence of gloss is seen in one step. A reference channel monitors the light source and compensates its drift.

Why this instrument
Samples with optical brighteners — paper, textiles, white plastics — need a UV component in the illumination; small parts need a small aperture. The CP2050 covers both, and the camera shows the measured spot on the screen.

Software and data
The PC software (free download) stores standards with their tolerances, shows the spectrum and the colour difference, follows trends and exports results for reports. Standards can also be created and measured directly on the instrument.
Data are transferred by USB or Bluetooth; the mobile app (Android, iOS) shows results and standards on the phone.
