How the Listeria monocytogenes QC Strain is used
The vial is rehydrated with the supplied recovery fluid. The suspension is spread on a non-selective agar or inoculated into broth to obtain a fresh working culture, which is then used to inoculate the media or tests being checked.

Applications and practical notes
The strain is used as a positive control and for media testing according to ISO 11133 and ISO 11290-1. Typical applications include:
- growth promotion testing of Listeria media
- positive controls in Listeria detection
- verification of rapid tests and identification kits
