CC200 Portable Colorimeter — 8/d, Ø8 mm, PC software

The CC200 portable colorimeter (COLO product code PRO7974) measures colour and colour difference with 8/d geometry and an Ø8 mm aperture. CIE Lab, LCh and XYZ under illuminant D65, 20 000 sample records and PC software make it the standard model of the CC series for routine colour control.

Overview

Measure the standard once, then every sample shows the colour values, ΔE, pass/fail and the direction of the colour offset. A colorimeter measures colour as three values under one illuminant — the simple and economical tool for colour difference control.

  • Colour difference control with ΔE pass/fail in production and at goods receipt

Why this instrument

When the task is to keep a product within a colour tolerance — plastics, paints, printed matter, textiles — a colorimeter is the simple and affordable tool: measure the master once, then each sample shows ΔE and pass/fail. Illumination positioning shows where the instrument measures.

  • Wrist strap

Optional: powder test box, micro printer. The delivered configuration for a specific order is the one confirmed in the COLO.Science quotation.

Knowledge base

New to colour measurement? Colorimeters and spectrophotometers, CIE Lab, ΔE and measuring geometries (45/0 and d/8) are explained on COLO.Science, our knowledge base.

Selection guide

  • Teaching, training and orientation checks: CC10.
  • Routine colour difference control with PC software: CC200.
  • Textured, uneven or wet samples (food, textiles, granules): CC20XE.
  • Spectral data, SCI/SCE, UV and more illuminants: the CP20 spectrocolorimeters.
  • Laboratory-grade accuracy and colour matching: the CS70 portable spectrophotometers.
  • Transmittance, liquids or haze: a benchtop spectrophotometer is needed — see the CS60 series.
