Brucella LAMP Test Kit – visual result in under one hour
The Brucella LAMP Test Kit detects Brucella DNA from cattle, pig and sheep samples by loop-mediated isothermal amplification. The reaction runs at one temperature in a simple heating block, and the result is read by colour.

How Brucella LAMP Test Kit works
After enrichment and lysis at 99 °C, the sample is added to the lyophilised reaction tube. Specific primers amplify the target DNA in about 55 minutes. Positive reactions show green fluorescence, negative ones remain light orange.

Applications and practical notes
Molecular kits detect Burkholderia gladioli and Brucella within hours, without long culture. Typical applications include:

Working with Brucella LAMP Test Kit: Open the reaction tubes only after the run in a separate area, or not at all, and run a positive and a negative control every time.
Good practice with rapid tests: store the kit as stated on the label, let the components reach room temperature before use and use each item only once. Record the lot number and the result, and confirm positive results according to the reference method when this is required.
About the Burkholderia and Brucella methods: the USP chapter <60> describes the test for the Burkholderia cepacia complex in non-sterile pharmaceutical products, with enrichment and plating on Burkholderia cepacia selective agar (BCSA). Burkholderia gladioli, formerly known as Pseudomonas cocovenenans, produces bongkrekic acid in fermented cereal products and is isolated on PCFA agar. Brucella is detected in animal samples and milk mainly by molecular methods, because its culture is slow and needs a high biosafety level.
