Even the best laboratory balance is only as accurate as its last calibration.
Certified calibration weights are essential for verifying performance, adjusting balances
and documenting traceable weighing results.

The Calibration Weights section of COLO Lab Store includes OIML-class weight sets for
analytical, precision and industrial balances. From here you can choose the accuracy class
and mass range that match your balances and quality system.

OIML CALIBRATION WEIGHT CLASSES

  • OIML E1
    – highest accuracy class for micro and high-end analytical balances.

  • OIML E2
    – reference weights for analytical balances and metrology labs.

  • OIML F1
    – calibration of precision and analytical balances in routine QC.

  • OIML M1
    – verification of industrial and platform scales.

  • OIML M2
    – robust weights for production, warehousing and field use.

PRACTICAL NOTES FOR WEIGHT SELECTION

For micro and analytical balances, OIML E1/E2 or F1 weights are typically recommended.
Precision balances working in routine QC are usually calibrated with F1 or M1 classes,
while industrial scales can use M1/M2 sets.
Each COLO weight set is supplied in a protective case with handling tools to minimise contamination.

When setting up a calibration plan, combine the appropriate OIML class with certified documentation
from an accredited laboratory to support audits and quality inspections.
