Selection guidance

VIKING-TU2000 is chosen for ISO 7027 measurements up to 2000 NTU with touchscreen operation. COLO.Science helps you choose standards and vials.

Configuration checklist

  • Range: low turbidity (drinking water) or up to 2000 NTU (wastewater).
  • Standard: ISO 7027 (LED) or US EPA 180.1 (tungsten lamp).
  • Place of use: laboratory bench or field (IP65 portable).
  • Calibration: weekly in routine work or before critical tests, from the lowest to the highest standard, then verification.

Where the VIKING-TU2000 benchtop turbidity meter fits

The VIKING-TU2000 benchtop turbidity meter is intended for routine turbidity measurement in drinking water, process water and wastewater laboratories. With a measuring range of 0–2000 NTU and measurement according to ISO 7027, the VIKING-TU2000 benchtop turbidity meter covers both low-turbidity samples such as treated drinking water and more heavily loaded samples from process control. Calibration is carried out with formazin or equivalent polymer standards, and results are shown in NTU. COLO.Science supports the instrument with standards, cuvettes, installation advice and service, so that it stays within specification throughout its working life.

Calibration and care of the VIKING-TU2000 benchtop turbidity meter

Reliable turbidity results depend on clean cuvettes and regular verification. Before each series, wipe the cuvette with a lint-free cloth, check that it is free of scratches and air bubbles, and align it in the measuring chamber. Verify the VIKING-TU2000 benchtop turbidity meter against a calibration standard at the interval required by your quality procedure, and recalibrate when the reading falls outside the permitted tolerance. Store standards as specified by their manufacturer and replace them after the expiry date. COLO.Science can supply verification standards and replacement cuvettes for the VIKING-TU2000 benchtop turbidity meter and advise on a calibration schedule.

Need help choosing the right VIKING-TU2000 benchtop turbidity meter configuration?

Tell us the sample type, the expected turbidity and the standard you report by. COLO.Science will confirm the VIKING-TU2000 configuration, standards and vials.

Selection, commissioning and service support

Choosing a laboratory instrument is easier when the application is clear from the start. Tell us what kind of samples you measure, how many per day, which range and accuracy you need and which standards or internal procedures you follow. Based on that, our team recommends a suitable configuration together with the accessories and consumables that make sense for routine work, so you do not pay for options you will never use.

After delivery we stay available for practical questions: first start-up, calibration routine, daily care, storage and typical operator mistakes that shorten the life of sensors and wearing parts. If results begin to drift or the device reports an error, describe the symptoms and we will suggest what to check first before any repair is considered.

Spare parts, replacement sensors and calibration materials can be ordered later through the same contact. For a quotation or technical advice, use the request button on this page and add a short description of your application.
