COLO.SCIENCE — THERMOGRAVIMETRIC LOSS ON DRYING
Integrated weighing, controlled heating and automatic sample-chamber access
The FAMO500 professional moisture analyzer determines moisture by recording the mass of a sample before and during controlled heating. COLO.SCIENCE KNOWLEDGE AND SUPPORT
Selection support for moisture analysis methods and instrument configuration
COLO.Science supports selection of the capacity, sample mass, drying temperature, stop criterion, calibration weights, printer, communication workflow and documentation package for professional moisture analysis.
How to select the appropriate FAMO500 model
Start with the total mass placed on the sample pan. FAMO500 provides 110 g capacity for routine small-sample work, while FAMO501 provides 210 g capacity for larger containers, higher sample masses or methods requiring additional tare reserve. Both variants provide the same 1 mg weighing readability and 0.01% moisture readability.
Then define the sample type, expected moisture level, drying temperature, required stop criterion, reporting format and calibration procedure. A representative sample layer and validated method are essential for repeatable moisture results.
Professional moisture analysis with touch-screen control and automatic lifting
FAMO500 is intended for laboratories that need a practical professional moisture analyzer with integrated weighing, controlled heating and continuous mass-loss monitoring. Its 7-inch capacitive touch screen supports direct visual control, while the automatic lifting mechanism provides convenient access to the heating chamber and sample pan.
Reliable results depend not only on instrument specifications but also on sample preparation, sample distribution, drying temperature, stop criteria and calibration practice. COLO.Science can assist with model selection, optional F1 weights, printer and communication configuration according to the intended laboratory workflow.
Configuration notice
FAMO500 and FAMO501 may be supplied with different configurations depending on selected capacity, calibration-weight value, printer, communication interface, software scope, sample-pan accessories, certificates and documentation requirements. The official quotation defines the final delivered configuration. Specifications may change without notice.
