How Clostridioides difficile Latex Kit works
Latex particles coated with antibodies react with a cell antigen of C. difficile. Visible agglutination with the test latex and none with the control latex indicates a positive result.

Applications and practical notes
Rapid molecular tests detect clostridia and their toxin genes in enrichment cultures faster than the culture method. Typical applications include:
