Nichiryo Premium Tips 0.5–5 mL are the 5 mL Premium tip, designed exclusively for 5 mL Nichiryo pipettes. The finely finished tip end reduces surface tension, so the tip empties completely, and the precise seal on the pipette cone supports accurate, repeatable results. Choose bulk bags, racks or sterile racks.

Nichiryo tests its pipettes with Premium tips, so a Premium tip on a Nichiryo pipette gives the accuracy stated for the pipette.

Handling tips for accurate results
- Press the pipette firmly into the tip with a slight twist – a tight seal is the basis of accurate pipetting.
- Pre-wet the tip two or three times before the measured aspiration.
- Hold the pipette vertically and immerse the tip just below the liquid surface.
- Use a new tip for every sample; with sterile work open the rack only next to the working area.
- Autoclave at 121 °C for 20 minutes – longer cycles or higher temperatures may deform tips and racks.

Can Nichiryo Premium tips be autoclaved?
Yes – at 121 °C for 20 minutes, and the racks can be autoclaved as well. Longer cycles or higher temperatures may deform tips and racks.
Are the tips DNase / RNase free?
Nichiryo Premium tips X are UV resistant; DNase / RNase free is not specified for the millilitre tips. For aseptic work choose the sterile rack.
Do the tips fit pipettes of other brands?
No. The 5 mL and 10 mL Nichiryo Premium tips are designed for Nichiryo pipettes only.
Which packaging should I order?
Bulk bags are the most economical choice if you refill your own racks. Racks keep the tips clean and are quick to use, and sterile racks are ready for microbiology, cell culture and molecular biology.
