MEMDIS150 automatic membrane filter dispenser — touchless, ≤ 1 s per membrane, 150 membranes
The MEMDIS150 automatic membrane filter dispenser releases sterile, continuously packed membrane filters at a wave of the hand. A gesture sensor starts each cycle, the membrane is peeled from its sterile package in ≤ 1 second and presented on the platform for tweezers, and a built-in rechargeable lithium battery makes the device portable. Product code PRO7312.
Sterile membranes, released without touch in one second
In membrane filtration, every sample needs a fresh sterile membrane on the filter support. The MEMDIS150 automatic membrane filter dispenser holds one box of 150 continuously packed sterile membranes and, triggered by a gesture sensor, peels one membrane from its package and presents half of it on the output platform in ≤ 1 second, ready to be taken with tweezers. Nothing is touched between samples, so dispensing is fast, clean and repeatable.

Dispensing and membranes
- Touchless gesture sensor — no buttons to touch between samples.
- ≤ 1 second per membrane; half of the membrane presented for tweezers.
- 150 membranes per box, sterile, continuously packed.
- Gridded MCE membranes Ø47 and Ø50 mm, white or black.
- Compatible with all Millipore dispenser membranes and Sartorius 16713PS; other brands after a sample test.
Build, power and care
- Stainless steel body, aluminium alloy base.
- Built-in rechargeable lithium battery; DC 12 V, 22 W.
- Quiet: < 60 dB under load; 4 kg; 30 × 24 × 20 cm.
- Easy care: wipe the surface; no other servicing under normal use.
Suitable for
- Microbiology laboratories — sterile filtration of liquid samples.
- Pharmaceutical industry — aseptic processing and quality control.
- Food and beverage industry — contamination testing.
- Environmental testing — water and air quality analysis.
- Any laboratory running membrane filtration on a manifold every day.
Why an automatic membrane filter dispenser
Taking membranes one by one from individual packs is slow, and opening the pack with gloved fingers and tweezers is exactly the moment when a sterile membrane is most easily contaminated. An automatic membrane filter dispenser removes that step: the membranes stay in a sterile continuous pack until the device peels the package open and presents one membrane on the platform.
The MEMDIS150 automatic membrane filter dispenser does this without touch — a gesture sensor triggers the cycle — and in under a second, so it keeps pace with a multi-place filtration manifold. The built-in battery lets it stand wherever the work is done, and because it accepts the continuously packed membranes used in Millipore dispensers, laboratories can keep the membranes they already validated.
Automatic membrane filter dispenser configurations and product code
The MEMDIS150 automatic membrane filter dispenser is supplied as a single model. On request it is offered as a starter set with five boxes of 150 sterile gridded MCE membranes, Ø47 or Ø50 mm.

Operating functions
Touchless dispensing
A gesture sensor starts each cycle. On the first cycle after loading no membrane is released; from the second cycle on, half of a membrane appears on the output platform, ready to be taken with sterile tweezers. One membrane is taken at a time.
Loading
The membrane box is placed in the dispenser with the transparent side of the package facing up. The package is threaded between the platform and the fixing rod, clipped to the upper driven shaft, opened by turning the shaft by hand, tightened and clipped again. After use, the clamps and pressure plate are removed and the empty package is discarded.
Portable operation
The built-in rechargeable lithium battery lets the automatic membrane filter dispenser work next to the filtration manifold, in a clean bench or on a mobile trolley, without a cable across the work surface.
Build, power and care
The MEMDIS150 has a stainless steel body on an aluminium alloy base, so it is stable on the bench and easy to wipe clean. It runs on DC 12 V with a power of 22 W, stays below 60 dB under load, weighs 4 kg and measures 30 × 24 × 20 cm.
Place the dispenser on a flat, stable surface and keep it and the membranes dry; liquids must not enter the device. Avoid exposing it to chemical disinfectants — in a sterile room, cover it or remove it during disinfection. If the handle does not reset after one press, press it twice to complete the positioning. Regular wiping is the only maintenance needed under normal use.

Applications of the automatic membrane filter dispenser
Water and environment. Drinking water, bottled water, surface and waste water, and air sampling membranes: an automatic membrane filter dispenser keeps up with long series of 100 ml water samples filtered on a multi-place manifold.
Food, beverages and dairy. Spoilage and contamination testing of soft drinks, beer, juices and process water, where many membranes are used per shift and every one must stay sterile.
Pharmaceutical and microbiology laboratories. Microbial limit testing, purified water monitoring and aseptic quality control, where touchless handling supports clean, repeatable work.
