COLO.Science — EPO700C RESEARCH-GRADE INFINITY BIOLOGICAL MICROSCOPE (CERAMIC STAGE)
EPO700C Biological Microscope with Ceramic Stage
A research-grade upright compound microscope with infinity-corrected optics, variable Köhler illumination,
and an ultra-hard ceramic-coated mechanical stage for durable daily lab work and documentation.
Variable Köhler illumination
15W LED (≈50,000 h)
Ceramic-coated mechanical stage
5-position reversed nosepiece
Binocular / Trinocular options
What makes EPO700C a “research-grade” platform
- Infinity Plan Achromatic objectives and an infinity optical system for crisp imaging and upgrade flexibility.
- Köhler illumination with field diaphragm support for repeatable contrast and documentation workflows.
- Full metal body, coaxial coarse/fine focusing, and anti-fungal / anti-microbial protection for long service life.
- Modular architecture: fluorescence, phase contrast, darkfield, polarization attachments can be assembled (depending on configuration).
Overview
EPO700 series microscopes are designed as compact, maintenance-free transmitted-light systems for clinical labs, teaching, pathology and biology research.
The EPO700C configuration adds an ultra-hard ceramic surface stage option preferred in high-usage environments for wear resistance and easier cleaning.
Key features
- Viewing head: Siedentopf binocular tube, 30° inclined, 360° rotatable, IPD approx. 52–75 mm, diopter adjustment.
- Nosepiece: revolving and reversed nosepiece for 5 objectives.
- Eyepieces: high eye-point wide field; WF10×/20 or WF10×/22 (depending on configuration).
- Condenser: Abbe condenser NA 1.25 with iris diaphragm, filter holder, centering and height adjustment.
- Illumination: adjustable 15W LED (≈50,000 h) or 20/30W tungsten-halogen option; constant intensity control.
- Focusing: coaxial coarse and fine focusing; fine focus graduation designed for precise control and specimen protection (rack stop).
- Stage: right-handed coaxial XY mechanical stage; ceramic surface coated stage (EPO700C focus).
- Options: trinocular heads, COLO microscope cameras, phase contrast, darkfield condenser, multi-purpose contrast condenser, fluorescence add-ons.
