How Clostridium perfringens qPCR Detection Kit works
DNA released from the sample is amplified with C. perfringens-specific primers and probe, and the fluorescence signal is followed in each cycle. The Ct value shows whether the target is present.

Rapid molecular tests detect clostridia and their toxin genes in enrichment cultures faster than the culture method. Typical applications include:
