How the Salmonella Paratyphi B Quantitative QC Strain is used
The lyophilisate is rehydrated with 2 mL of the supplied fluid, which gives about 0.3–1.0 × 10⁶ CFU per 0.1 mL. Ten-fold dilutions in saline are then prepared to reach the inoculum needed for the test, for example 30–100 CFU per 0.1 mL.
