COLO LabExperts – ANALYTICAL BALANCE / SIRET SERIES

SIRET analytical balance – Why it delivers trusted results in high‑precision weighing

The SIRET analytical balance combines an advanced electromagnetic force compensation (EMFC) sensor with active temperature compensation and an anti‑vibration filter. This ensures stable, repeatable measurements even in challenging laboratory environments.

The SIRET series is suitable for pharmaceutical quality control, chemical and food analysis, environmental testing and academic research laboratories. Available capacities range from 120g to 320g (models SIRET120–320 and SIRET120E–320E), all with 0.1 mg readability and 0.2 mg repeatability.

Key features of the SIRET analytical balance

  • EMFC load cell – Exceptional linearity (±0.3 mg) and repeatability (0.2 mg).
  • Internal calibration (SIRET models) – Automatic calibration triggered by time or temperature change.
  • External calibration (SIRET E models) – Flexible calibration with external certified weight.
  • Anti‑vibration filter – Reduces the effect of building vibrations.
  • RS232 and USB interfaces – Direct data transfer to PC, printer or LIMS.
  • Large LCD with backlight – Clear readings in any lighting.
  • Three‑side glass draft shield – Protects against air currents and dust.
  • Under‑pan weighing hook (optional) – For density and special applications.

Where the SIRET balance works best

  • Pharmaceutical QC and R&D laboratories
  • Chemical and food ingredient analysis
  • Environmental testing (filter weighing, solids)
  • Gravimetric sample preparation for HPLC, GC, titration
  • Academic research and teaching labs

PRACTICAL USE & WORKFLOW

Why users choose the SIRET analytical balance

Internal calibration models save time by automatically calibrating when temperature changes or at preset time intervals. External calibration models give flexibility for users who prefer certified external weights. The ≤3 second stabilisation time speeds up routine weighing, and the optional under‑pan weighing hook supports density determination.

The glass draft shield with three‑side sliding doors protects sensitive samples from air currents. The stainless steel pan (Ø80 mm) is easy to clean, and the levelling feet with built‑in bubble level ensure perfect horizontal positioning.
