Options & notes

calibration practice Use air-saturated water for routine calibration; use a zero point when SOP/validation requires.
pressure & salinity Set the correct pressure unit and apply salinity correction for saline samples to maintain accuracy.
power management Use Auto Shutdown to extend battery service life during fieldwork.
configuration notice Final delivered configuration may vary by region and quotation package; specifications may change without notice.

Practical operation notes

topicrecommendationnote
probe preparation Inspect the optical DO electrode and ensure stable readings before logging results. Stability prompts (Reading/Stable/Locked) help standardize measurement endpoints.
calibration Calibrate with air-saturated water for routine work; apply zero oxygen calibration when required. Calibration choice depends on SOP and expected DO range.
compensation Use ATC (or MTC when needed), and apply barometric pressure + salinity correction for best accuracy. Pressure and salinity influence DO and % saturation calculations.
data management Store GLP groups (1000) and export results via USB for reporting and traceability. Built-in data analysis supports review/compare/recalculate.
