OVERVIEW
Polarized light microscopy uses polarized illumination to enhance contrast in birefringent or anisotropic samples. In its simplest form, the specimen is illuminated with polarized light,
while an analyzer (often crossed at 90°) selectively blocks/permits transmitted light depending on sample properties—revealing structures that are otherwise difficult to observe in standard brightfield.
POLO900TT combines a stable upright microscope body and Koehler illumination with an infinity optical system and a large 160 mm rotatable round stage.
With configurations in binocular or trinocular form, it supports both transmitted and incident (reflected) light workflows—making it a strong value choice for practical polarized-light work in labs.
