Every Nichiryo pipette is tested before shipment with Premium tips – they are the tips Nichiryo recommends to reach the accuracy stated for the pipette. Finely finished tip ends empty without residue, and the precise seal on the tip cone keeps every stroke repeatable.

Why the tip decides the accuracy
A pipette only measures air displacement – the tip is where the liquid actually is. If the tip does not seal perfectly on the cone, or liquid stays at the tip end, the dispensed volume moves away from the set volume. That is why Nichiryo calibrates and tests its pipettes with its own tips.

Residue-free tip end
The fine design and finish of the tip end reduce surface tension, so the tip empties completely.

Bulk pack
1000 tips (X, Z, ZS: 200 tips) – the economical choice for routine work. Autoclave in your own rack or container.
Racks
96 tips per rack, 10 racks per box (X: 2 × 50, Z/ZS: 2 × 40). Tips are taken directly from the rack, so dirt and dust stay out. Racks can be autoclaved.
Sterile racks
Ready-to-use sterile racks for sterile work. Empty racks for X and Z tips are available separately.
Autoclave at 121 °C for 20 minutes; exceeding the recommended conditions may deform the tips. *DNase/RNase free except X and Z series.
Viscous samples or PCR work?
For proteins, detergents and PCR set-up use Nichiryo Low Retention tips – excellent drainage, and filter versions with a hydrophobic HDPE filter in sterile racks.
