FAQ – MET900 Series
How many models are included in this family? This technical sheet covers four base models: MET900BR, MET900TR, MET900BTR and MET900TTR.
What is the main difference between the models? The family is divided by viewing head type (binocular or trinocular) and by light path configuration (reflected light or reflected/transmitted light).
Is the MET900 Series suitable for metallurgical and materials work? Yes. The platform is intended for electronics, metallurgy, coatings, mineralogy, precision engineering and general materials analysis.
Can the system be used with a camera? Yes. Trinocular models are prepared for photo / camera integration via the trinocular head and listed C-mount options.
Does the platform support polarization? Yes. A built-in polarization system with polarizer and analyser is described in the technical specification.
Please note: If the standard MET900 family configuration does not fully match your application, COLO.Science can help define a suitable setup with trinocular imaging, C-mount adapters, objective combinations and reflected/transmitted-light accessories. Technical specifications are subject to change without notice.
